This month we have the opportunity to hear from Barb Stickel, Nancy Barton, and Sheila Gaines from the Medical Center of Central Georgia, a 600 bed MagnetT teaching hospital located in Macon, GA.

This presentation was first shared at the semi-annual Staffing Effectiveness Roundtable, co-hosted by Georgia Medical Resource Pool, a VHA Georgia affiliated company, and BidShift. These events bring together the 15 VHA Georgia member hospitals using BidShift and other VHA Georgia member hospitals interested in discussing staffing effectiveness strategies, approaches, models, and practices.

Barb, Nancy, and Sheila will share their flexible staffing model, which includes a centrally managed flex pool of 200+ staff members, as well as how they have incorporated the BidShift program to improve communication, gain efficiencies, and support their Magnet status.
